with both our managed transportation and brokerage divisions housed in our
corporate headquarters in Niles, IL. Since being founded in 2003 by Mike
Nervick and Ryan Daube, AFNŽ has experienced double digit growth year
after year due to AFNŽ’s entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to our
clients’ needs. AFNŽ has been recognized by Inbound Logistics Magazine as
a Top 100 3PL Provider for the past three consecutive years and has
received multiple awards. With a concentration on continuous improvement,
AFNŽ has a strong commitment to innovation and technology. In order to
deliver best in class results for our shipping clients, AFNŽ utilizes an
on-demand transportation management system (TMS) and proactive track and
trace processes.

We offer a full
array of services for both brokerage and managed transportation clients.
We primarily focus our efforts on North America, with a strong,
domestic, over-the-road business. We offer intermodal,
less-than-truckload, partial and multi-modal shipment options for our
clients. We are also growing our fresh and frozen refrigerated business
at leaps and bounds.

History
AFNŽ began in 2003, in Deerfield, IL with just three employees. Since
then the company has moved its operations three times. Now the company
is located in Niles, IL and employs more than 80 logistics
professionals. The AFNŽ business in large part was built on servicing
the Grocery, Food, Beverage, and Consumer Product industries. From our
roots as a small niche brokerage operation, AFNŽ has grown into a full
service Third Party Logistics Provider due in large part to our great
customer service.

Environment Matters
AFNŽ is also taking
environmental issues seriously. By relocating our corporate
headquarters to Niles, IL, AFNŽ greatly reduced our carbon footprint
by reducing the overall number of miles our employees were traveling
each day to our Deerfield location. AFNŽ is also a SmartWay Provider
and has recently earned a SIF (Shipper Index Factor) of 1.25, which is
the best score given by the EPA, thus demonstrating AFNŽ’s ability to
successfully grow its business while keeping environmental issues in
mind.
